Throughout my personal and professional life, I have had the opportunity to connect with many women from different backgrounds and walks of life. Through these conversations, I began to recognize something we often have in common:

 

regardless of our accomplishments, responsibilities, or where we are in life, we all need meaningful connections.

I have listened to women navigating relationships, adjusting to life after divorce, raising children who are entering college or beginning their own journeys, managing demanding careers, and simply dealing with the everyday challenges that life brings.

What stood out to me was that some women did not always have someone they felt comfortable talking to. Sometimes, they simply needed another woman who could listen, understand, relate, and offer encouragement without judgment.

That realization became the inspiration behind Chix Chat.

​

I wanted to create a welcoming community exclusively for women 50 and over, a place where women could come together, share their experiences, learn from one another, build genuine friendships, and develop meaningful personal and professional connections.

​

But I also wanted Chix Chat to be about celebrating life. I envisioned women gathering for beautiful brunches, enjoying thought-provoking book discussions, traveling to exciting destinations, laughing together, and creating new memories. Because while life presents challenges, it also offers incredible opportunities for friendship, growth, discovery, and joy.

My vision for Chix Chat is to bring women together who may have never crossed paths otherwise, but who discover through conversation that they have more in common than they ever imagined.
